Thank god for love

This song makes my heart dance everytime I hear it, reminding me that love will save the day.

Exactly 40 years ago (-2 days) The Monkees appeared on the Johnny Cash show (June 19th 1969), and even though their career as a group was coming to it's end at the time, this cheerful band knew how to smuggle a smile every time.

Two interesting trivia facts about the Monkees:

1. Jimi Hendrix (!) was their opening act for their 1967 tour.

2. They starred in the freaky movie "Head" (1968 ) which was co-written & co-produced by Jack Nicholson (!!)
